Wood, Stone & Light is the reimagining of the primary living spaces of an early 20th Century home in Maplewood, NJ to create a bright, open, warm and connected atmosphere. A sunny winter afternoon with the sound, sight, smell and warmth of a fire from the hanging hearth defines the experience. Light fills the spaces through large glass sliding doors and a carefully placed picture window next to the dining table seamlessly unites each moment with nature. The geometry of the kitchen is wrapped in a rich blue hue set against marble with exquisite veining and light wood cabinets that hang with a feeling of weightlessness. It’s a sophisticated yet playful combination that makes it a happy place to share with family and friends alike.
